San Juan Bautista Cathedral

With over 500 years of history, the Cathedral of San Juan Bautista is one of the oldest churches in the New World, and home to centuries old works of architectural art. A testament to the history of Puerto Rico, its preservation is the preservation of the Island’s cultural heritage.

Restoration of the San Juan Bautista Cathedral located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Given the recent natural disasters that have affected the island have left the Cathedral, founded in 1521, in a dire state of disrepair.  The Cathedral contains innumerable works of art, as well as, the tomb of Juan Ponce de Leon and Saint Pio.   This project shall be organized and executed together with the Fundación Protectora de la Catedral Metropolitana de San Juan de Puerto Rico, Inc., a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
